1:1 Reorientation

Accompaniment for leaders navigating the Threshold.

A private, nature-informed inquiry for leaders navigating complexity, transition, and the questions that don’t have easy answers.

You don’t need another framework to follow.

You may need space to step back from the noise, notice what is actually happening, reconnect with what matters, and discover what the moment is asking of you.

Through reflective inquiry, deep listening, and a perspective informed by our relationship with the natural world, we explore the places where work, leadership, relationships, identity, and possibility intersect.

Together, we make room for what is often difficult to hear in the pace of everyday leadership.

The intention isn’t to fix you. It’s to help you find your bearings.

From there, new possibilities can emerge.

The Threshold

There are moments when what worked before no longer quite fits.

  • A role changes.
  • A relationship shifts.
  • A team becomes strained.
  • An organization enters unfamiliar territory.
  • A question begins to surface that won’t go away.

These are thresholds: places between what was and what comes next.

They can be disorienting. They can also be invitations. Often, they are both.

1:1 Reorientation offers a private space to slow down, pay attention, and explore what is asking to be understood before deciding what needs to be done.

There is no prescribed destination.

The work begins with where you are.

The Ripple Effect

Leadership never happens in isolation.

What happens within a leader doesn’t stay within the leader. The way we hold uncertainty affects how we communicate. The stories we carry influence the systems we create. The questions we’re willing to ask change the questions others believe are possible.

When a leader finds their bearings, the effects can travel outward.

01

Friction becomes information

Rather than rushing to eliminate tension, we become curious about what it may be revealing—about relationships, assumptions, unmet needs, competing priorities, or the conditions surrounding the work.

02

Noise becomes signal

When there is greater clarity about what matters, attention can become more intentional. Conversations become more purposeful. Decisions can become less reactive and more discerning.

03

Silos become systems

With greater perspective, leaders can see beyond individual functions and competing agendas to recognize the larger system they are part of—and the relationships that allow it to move together.

The result isn’t simply a different leader.

It’s the possibility of a different ecosystem around them.

A Story from the Field

When the conditions around leadership change, the ripple can travel.

A Florida-based technology team was experiencing significant turnover among senior engineers.

The work began not with a new retention program, but with a closer look at the leadership dynamics beneath the visible problem.

Through reflection, inquiry, and attention to the patterns shaping the team’s experience, leadership began to see possibilities that had been obscured by the urgency of the problem.

The work contributed to meaningful changes in the leadership ecosystem—and turnover subsequently declined.

Specific outcomes vary by organization, circumstance, and context.
